Re: Man wandering between the Commons

@tsmac - I think I know the man who are talking about. White guy, short to medium height, skinny with short blonde/ brown hair? Usually seen walking with a can of cider on Northcote Rd. He mutters a lot to himself and once or twice I’ve seen him remonstrating with someone for something minor. I have...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Daddydaycare- couldn’t agree with you more.  Julian- most local social media has always been apolitical and focussed on local issues. Unfortunately, users like Guy have corrupted or abused theses platforms (hence being banned\  suspended numerous time). Time to take back control (😂) of our local med...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Pretty shameful behaviour Guy. It is no wonder you have been banned from a number of social media apps.  So let me get this straight- you would rather have an Anti-Semite in No 10 leading a minority government than have a Tory government? You’d rather have a leader who has shared a platform with ext...

Re: General Election - what do we think for Battersea?

Those posters criticising Boris and endorsing Corbyn should take a moment to reflect what Corbyn is. He is a left wing populist, supported by a nasty anti-Semitic movement that want to do away with aspiration and treat everyone as a victim of sorts.  The Human Right Commission is investigating the L...

Re: New boy medical examination

I did not go to boarding school, but had my testicles examined by a GP when I was a teenager. Some boys "balls don't drop" properly, and is a legitimate medical issue. It has nothing to do with boarding schools. OP- your response highlights you are being a little precious and agree with some of the ...

Re: Female dogs on heat - please don't walk them on the Common!

This thread proves to me that dog owners live on another planet. The fact that some people defend the OP and call us ignorant means they don't get our point. If you can't keep your dog on a lead, they should not be on the Common. Regardless of their menstrual cycle (!) Why are my taxes paying for a ...

Re: Female dogs on heat - please don't walk them on the Common!

My jaw dropped when I read this post. I don't have any pets and actually feel that dog owners are ruining Wandsworth Common. The dogs are scaring the wildlife (ducks in the pond or squirrels in the trees etc), scaring young children ("he's a friendly dog..."), dog poo and little poo bags not in bins...

Re: Belleville expansion plans

Three last posts are rather suspicious. Never posted on NVN before and all posting a consistent message.... Mmmmm. Let me give you another thought. Wix were underperforming. So, effectively bad management. Belleville Primary is rated Outstanding and in the Top 200 primary schools in the UK (per Sund...

Re: In-laws voted leave. They've removed my children's freedom of movement and I can't cope with seeing them any longer.

You do realise you come across as rather intolerant of people who have different views to you? Last time I checked, we live in a democracy which allows you to have an opinion and to exercise your right to vote. What’s worse, you are linking unrelated xenophobic views of random people to your in laws...

Re: Labour MP for Battersea, Marsha de Cordova comes out in support of a People's Vote!

Is your post about Brexit or Marsha de Cordova? Many Conservative members are against Brexit (Justine Greening- next door MP) and in favour of a second referendum (led by Dominic Grieve). So being Labour or Conservative is a mute point as you have Remainer and Brexiteers in both parties. However, if...

Re: Guess what Northcote House Nursery has done this time to make themselves ever more miserable...

@workingmumbtc and @petal What nasty and unconstructive posts. And to make matters worse, you lobby these insults behind anonymous user ids. The recipients of your comments do not have the same luxury of anonymity as you do.... speaking of “cowards”. I am a parent at the nursery, so happy to give a ...

Re: Not happy families at the Bolingbroke on Northcote

Ppe- are you angry at Bollingbroke for not making their policy terms more clearer, or for not making an exception for your supposed well behaved 14 year old? Surely, it would have been easier to raise this issue with the pub the next day, once you had calmed down? But instead, you opted to publicly ...

Re: Mother attacked for Rolex as her children run screaming for help

Bathtub- are you for real?

You are victim blaming and also looking to blame the Tories.

In case you hadn't noticed, we have a Labour Party mayor, who is in charge of policing.

But he also has the same attitude as you... blame everyone else.

This is a serious issue, and doesn't need silly comments.

Uhm
This is a mind dump of information and got bored reading.
I lost you after the umpteenth non existent paragraph.

Some useful advise... try be concise to get your message across.

Re: 20 Mph Speed Trap in Nappy Valley Side Street - With Ulterior Motive???

Agreed with the theme to this post. What's the point of spending money implementing a 20mph limit but (1). Fail to enforce it or (2). Enforce it incorrectly. I am happy to point the council to my street, where the 20mph is never complied with and used as a shortcut to avoid Battersea Rise. It is wor...
