Re: Sleep trainer for an 8 year old

A few years ago I got a recommendation on this site for the Millpond children’s sleep clinic. I had a young child at the time and typically the matter resolved after I filled out their questionnaire, but when I was doing my research they appeared to deal with older children rather than toddlers. Whe...

Re: girls weekend away in Europe, any suggestions...?

Another vote for Budapest. Everything Beketaten has said. Cheap flights, flight time two and a half hours, lovely architecture, and very good value food and drink. The spas were great and very cheap in comparison to prices here. I'm actually planning to bring my sisters either this christmas or next...

Re: Toddler friendly hotel in the UK

We went away for a weekend with our toddler last year to Ickworth House in Suffolk. (http://ickworthhotel.co.uk) It had everything we needed, good food, very children friendly and a heated indoor pool that was available all day (some hotels have restricted hours for children). The biking was excelle...

Re: Italian lessons for kids

Pixi and Gemima, can I ask if these two playgroups are the same or are you both running separate groups? Both sound great.
Many thanks.

Re: Child-friendly restaurant near Polka theatre, Wimbledon

When we went to the Polka, we took two toddlers to Bills on Hartfield road, just off the Broadway. Highchairs, room for two buggies and a menu that they could order from. And it was big and busy enough to drown out the tantrums when boredom set in!

Does anyone have a recommendation of someone to go to for legal advice/ consultation regarding private renting, repairs, breach of contract? I know about the charity Shelter but I think I now need someone with a bit of clout. Not a very exciting story just a landlord who thinks tenants are cash cows...

Re: Post chemo shampoo recommendations please

When my mother-in-law was undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy we were recommended Philip Kingsley's No Colour No Scent range. Both the shampoo and conditioner did seem to be very moisturising without being greasy. I also found his website to be quite good and informative. Congratulations on com...

Re: Wanted: Bugaboo bee bassinet

Hi, We have a red bugaboo bee bassinet for sale. Bought from John Lewis and still under warranty with the attachments for the chassis. We only used it as a day cot in the living room and never actually took it outside. I also have two specially made little sheets for it from the Quick Brown Fox of D...

Re: Tips for cleaning bath toys

Using the same method as the other ladies describe, We use Cilit Bang black mould remover. Its fiddly as the nozzle doesn't come off the bottle but it works. I leave them overnight and give them a quick rince in the dishwasher to get rid of any residue. Ive found nothing that prevents or stops it re...

Re: Baby Swimming Lessons in Fulham

Hi, We went to Waterbabies and they run classes in Charing Cross Hospital on the Fulham Palace road. The pool is heated a little more than standard public pools so is particularly good for small babies coming into winter. It can be difficult to get a class though as they only run about two days a we...
