Re: English nanny looking for full live in work

You've made a point of being an 'english nanny', yet you've made two spelling errors in your post?

Re: Nursery food

I don't see the issue here. We all had this as kids and we are fine! I was born and bought up in the UK and have never even had a filling(likewise with my kids). To be honest its upsetting to see that a child wasn't allowed ice cream until two and a half years of age! Theres being sensible, and ther...

Re: Scooter + crutches + main road = ???

Have you never run across the road? To the original poster did you offer to help the mother in question or just rush home to blog about the situation? I was on my way to work. What sort of holier than thou people are on this thing, all I did was make an observation and you think you have the right ...

Re: Scooter + crutches + main road = ???

I get what you're saying Julian, however I do think that people have maybe taken what I have said a bit out of context and jumped on the band wagon. I didn't say anything negative about the mother, or the child. I just said I was a bit shocked, as when I was a child anything but walking across the r...

Re: Scooter + crutches + main road = ???

"Upset and disappointed" - what? with life? with others? :? Judgemental posts like this make me feel tired of NVN which is a shame. I wish you'd go away with your blinkered views and let the rest of us discuss things in a positive and supportive way. Meow!! That was uber 'positive or supp...

Re: Scooter + crutches + main road = ???

Wow, 70% of the posts on here are 'no-one else's business'. Maybe you should go and tell all of them the same thing.

Scooter + crutches + main road = ???

This afternoon at around 11.45 I was walking to work going up Northcote road. I was crossing the road at the lights (by the goat), when coming across opposite from me was a kid on her scooter (5-7) being dragged/pulled along by mum, but also carrying crutches. Why would anyone let their child 1) cro...

Re: Road rage from a local businessman

What does the above link have to do with the angry dude from Brew's? 1. the person who has been injured in Tooting was a cyclist who was hurt by a road vehicle 2. the person who had the 4x4 road vehicle driven at them by the owner of Brew was a cyclist Until non-cyclists understand that cyclists fa...
