Re: Cost of new stairs? Any ideas?

We have just paid £9500 for a new staircase throughout. Five flights in Victorian style with spindles. I think cost depends on whether you go for pine or MDF or a combination of both.

Re: Medical negligence - solicitor needed

Leigh Day are excellent but be aware that they are a big firm. I am a medical negligence lawyer (not affiliated to any firm at present due to parenting and house renovations!). My advice is to go to a larger firm, it will not affect the service that you get.  If you contact AvMA they will give you a...

Re: Splashfest

Sadly I have to agree. We went yesterday and only managed the glorified water fight. My children are 7 and 10 and felt that the whole thing was actually geared to much younger children. The queues were so long we didn't even make the slides. It was my birthday and we thought it would be great to hav...

Re: Magnet Kitchens

We had a kitchen fitted by magnet in 2009. Design was limited. Many of the advertised gadgets etc were unavailable. The management and staff turnover is high so trying to resolve any issue takes forever and there is no continuity. Nearly seven years on we are still going through "snagging". The unit...
