Re: COVID Vaccine in pregnancy - to have or not to have?

As everyone has said there are polarised views. Personally I wouldn’t trust anybody’s views. I would do some research. As your mum says this is still a trial vaccine. Not just Covid but MRNA vaccines are new too. None of the trials included pregnant women and we have only been vaccinating those of c...

Re: Whitgift vs Dulwich College, please share your thoughts

Totally support what Magnolia Mum has said. We are blessed with some excellent boys secondary school within commuting distance from Wandsworth. My son is now in year 11 and is at Whitgift - he had friends from primary who went to Dulwich & Trinity. I don't know anyone who is unhappy with any of ...

Re: School advice needed please

Dear Worriedworm. I can totally understand your dilemma and do have first hand experience of moving children mid year with state schools. The advice to date is right in terms of contacting local authorities although I expect that communication will be slow - I did it a different way and it worked fo...

Re: Choosing between schools

I would Echo what others have said in terms of understanding first your son and what he likes most - is he happy to travel or does he prefer to be local. Is he sporty, musical, general etc. What sports does he like. I have friends with children at all schools (some who have also gone onto University...

Re: Child Osteopath - looking for recommendations

Hi - I have used Emily at Back on Track clinic at Wimbledon park - she is amazing. Used to work at a kids clinic in Harley Street before operating from her own practise - with Kieran who is also great. I saw her with my son who was born with very bad cranial moulding and she was fabulous.  I have al...

Re: We are looking for an after school nanny/housekeeper 2-3 days a week SW17- starting end Feb

Thanks Ramaboo - I tried them but they couldn't send me anyone (and that was just nanny, no housekeeping) - and friends have had similar experiences. Glad it's worked out for you as the idea is great. I might give them another go!

Re: Henry Cavendish & Rutherford House schools

Just in case anyone is still looking for information - I had 2 children who went through Ravenstone Primary - one only left in July - and I believe it has served them well. They are both well rounded, confident and caring individuals who are thriving at their secondary schools. Due to the "blip...

Re: Recycling duvets mattresses and pillows
