Re: Mouse Hole Carbon Monoxide Incident

I think you need to find out a lot more about how the HSE operates - HINT: that doesn't mean "spend more time on Google".

Re: Mouse Hole Carbon Monoxide Incident

I'm not in any way involved in or connected to this, but I can tell you the HSE is very thorough.  Especially with children involved if they felt that there was an ongoing risk they would have closed the place; if they felt that they had been deliberately misled they would have prosecuted.  I sugges...

Marks & Spencer Clapham South

Does anyone know what is going on with M&S at Clapham South? They no longer seem to be a destination for online collections and returns.

Re: Summer Vacation in Rome

If you are in Rome make sure you see the Pantheon - still the biggest free-standing concrete dome in the world dedicated to Pan Theos - all the Gods - oh how we could use that today - and the frescos from Livia’s villa - check them out online. Livia was the wife of Augustus and the most powerful wom...

Re: Interested in scuba diving gear?

Just off Clapham Common West side. Send me a private message with an email address and I’ll send a list. You are just in time - I was going to give it to a dive shop tomorrow!

Interested in scuba diving gear?

I have had to give up scuba diving and have some gear looking for a good home in return for a donation to charity. Not unfortunately wet suit or tanks but things like fins + a fin bag, a Uwatec Aladin wrist dive computer which by now probably needs the battery replacing, a waterproof camera case, sn...

Re: Anyone using their little brown food bin?

"We have stopped using ours" - please think of the environmental benefits for everyone else and start again.  It really isn't that much effort.

Issues re Chadwicks

I have to say that the few times we have bought meat from Chadwick’s it has been excellent. But if you have an issue with it and have the time then go to Wimbledon Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and get your meat from March House Farm - they’ll probably tell you the name of the cow you are going to ea...

Re: Anyone using their little brown food bin?

We live just off Clapham Common West Side and use it completely routinely. Only once was it not collected. We logged the missed collection on the Council website and it was sorted by the evening.
