Re: Can't afford a second set of schools fees, not sure what will be least harmful

Have you spoken to the school? Private schools are fighting to keep people at the moment so by explaining that you can only afford one child they may be able to help you somehow, perhaps looking into a bursary or something similar. Re: Nurseries

Hi Shivani

My daughter is at Northcote and Bennerley house and although she only started in the toddler room, rather than the baby room, where your little one would be, she has been very happy there. Kelly is a great manager and I hear good things about the baby room team too. 😀

Re: C&W or St George’s?

I second everything Veritwee says. Have had two babies at C&W and had very positive experiences both times. It’s a pleasant hospital to be in whereas george’s is not, as a building. Facilities are world class. Having said that, I have friends who have had a great experience at george’s too and their...

Re: Nursery close to Northcote Road

My 3.5 YO daughter has been at Northcote house for over a year and we love it. She’s very happy there. She was previously at another nursery and we found it difficult for her to settle and then when she moved into the toddler room the lack of good English speakers worried us so we moved her to North...

Re: House near Clapham Junction

Hi, we lived on Elspeth for five years and it was a great place to start out and get on the property ladder but if you’re looking for the long term, it is worth considering that it is a very busy and polluted road and if you have any bedrooms at the front of the house, it is noisy. There are no spee...

Re: St Johns Hill - Kaosarn - new restaurant?

Do you mean the one next to Kaosarn where the Eritrean place was? If so, it’s going to be an Italian restaurant and will be run by one of my NCT friends and her husband! Very excited for launch. He’s Roman so I believe it will be mostly roman food. They’ve forked our on a fancy pizza oven too so Rom...
