Re: Labour MP for Battersea, Marsha de Cordova comes out in support of a People's Vote!

Check all the facts, Mr 1973

And look at how Labour is split between Progress and Momentum more than Tories on the EU.

If Labour win the next General Election, will the last person to leave Britain please turn out the lights ?

I think we can agree on that, right ?

Re: Labour MP for Battersea, Marsha de Cordova comes out in support of a People's Vote!

Can we have another election so that w can get a conservative back as a local MP? In my opinion, Marsha's performance has been poor. As has the Labour party's. Look at the voting track record. If it is Labour, they will hate the EU more than the tories, reduce economic activity, be divided more than...

Re: Kitchen extension question

I guess you are in dispute with your builder on this? The victorians used, i beleive, clay for their pipes and they probably will break as soon as they come out of the ground and have an awkward imperial measurement that will require replacing with plastic encased with stones and in lintels. I’d say...

Re: Loud bang 7Jan 19

https://news.sky.com/story/uk-and-french-jets-scrambled-as-russian-planes-fly-over-north-sea-11503321 Happens every week. Google it. RAF have to respond quickly and their jets go supersonic to meet the Russians infringing on our airspace and testing reaction times. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-engl...

Re: Loud bang 7Jan 19

It was a sonic boom from a fighter jet “scrambled” to ward of a Russian bear bomber.

I work for a defence organisation and we track such sightings.

Re: Veronica Calabro

I don’t know whether I would take that as an insult, Judi. If she takes 10% of anything she sells then maybe she thinks she will get so little commission from your possessions it ain’t worth her time. If you had family silver maybe it would be different. Either way, after being ‘ghosted’ I would fee...

Re: These are the six Wandsworth councillors who have failed to pay their council tax on time

Paying a couple of days late cause you were on holiday or busy is fine. Allowing arrears to build is heinous. Shame on those councillors who do not set a good example (unless they won on a mandate of explicitly not paying council tax). I call for their immediate resignations. Starting with McLeod an...

Re: WANTED - OUTDOORSY LADY TO LEAFLET DISTRIBUTE !!

What are your leaflets saying?Asking for money for sponsorship for the local football team? Or advertise fresh (not frozen) fish? I once found myself handing out leaflets for a pizza place that was rated 1-star for food hygiene. And one offering services of a medium that promised she could tell me m...

Dangerous situation at Clapham South

Hello Has anyone noticed how dangerous Clapham South has become thanks to the old people's home works and ignorant inconsiderate private hire cars? The road is narrow there because of a walkway on the road and there are always cars outside waiting for lifts. A guy (don't call me sexist ... it is alw...
