Re: Architect

Am I the only who thinks that excessive self promotion should be banned on this website? It's completely tasteless, and smacks of desperation..

Re: Marsha de Cordova speaks out after media mistake her for two other black MPs

This all sounds to me like an attack of the 'cos I'ze is Black syndrome'. What an incredibly crass comment. Thinking that all black people look alike is not a crazy pc gone mad syndrome. But an actual micro aggression motivated by (albeit involuntary/subconscious) racial bias. When was the last tim...

Re: Building an online business that's not MLM

Hi Saskia, I like that you're not going down the route of MLM, how do you feel about SLM (single level marketing) and have you got any experience in SCM (structurally cohesive marketing)?

Re: Unpleasant situation around Clapham common station

@ sea hibiscus.. clearly my post was too close the bone.. wasn't it? Your original post, however subtle, had clear undertones of xenophobia. The myth of white underclasses suffering because of immigration has been systematically debunked throughout history. Surely you must know this. P.S. I think it...

Re: Unpleasant situation around Clapham common station

@ sea hibiscus.. I care about his French and Italian neighbours. In this country we call them people and it doesn't matter where they're from..!

Poor British people worst off because of foreigners..??? Really??

You can't seriously believe this ridiculous populist propaganda.

Pathetic

Re: Loft Conversion

i'd say min 50-60K.. steer clear from loft companies that offer design and build. Employ an independent architect/designer/project manager.

Does anyone know or has worked with Profastbuild Ltd?

Hi all,
We are considering  Profastbuild Ltd for our project (loft and rear extension) has anyone worked with them? And if so would you recommend them? They don't seem to have a website.

Thank you

Richard

Re: Typical cost of side/rear extension?

Our extension was over £130K. Look out for extras!! Our builder kept on coming back to us with more extras asking for more and more money. It was rather frustrating and in hindsight we regretted not keeping the architect/project manager on during the construction on site. We thought it'd be an easy ...
