City of London Freemen's Ashtead

Hi.  I'd be interested to hear from anyone in the Nappy Valley neighbourhoods who send their children to this school.  I really like the school but an unsure as to where the cohort of friends will live - my concern is that as there is only a bus from Wimbledon station  maybe more of the pupils come ...

Permanently grumpy husband

Has anyone got any tips on how to cheerup my weekends? My husband works very long hours and travels a lot for work. He’s the primary financier and I’m the primary care giver. Our weekends are miserable, he’s incredibly short tempered with the children and shouts at them for anything. I become very p...

Re: Experiences with Electric Cars

I have a Q4. Have had it since September 21. I’m happy with it. Definitely worth taking it for quite a long test drive. The dashboard is very deep - I’m 5’6 and have to work around blind spots, my partner who is 6’ doesn’t have any blind spots. Seat maybe not as comfy as Bmw or merc. Overall I’m ver...

Re: Builder Recommendation for Clapham

If we're recommending who not to use definitely don't go near Obree.  They did some property maintenance for me (painting and plumbing).  An absolute disaster, they charge a fortune but do the job as cheaply as they can and they try to charge you for work that they do not do.  I cannot recommend the...

Trampoline - what size?

Hell.  I have a garden that is 8m by 4m, does anyone have a trampoline in a garden this size? I am fully expecting it to be a complete eyesore but would appreciate some advice on what size trampoline to buy 8ft, 10ft?  I think 6ft is too small?  Thank you for any tips or photographs of a trampoline ...

Re: Advice on Hypoallergenic cats

Hello Starr Did you get a cat?  I am just looking at your last post about a dog being a commitment.  I have a Bengal - please don't for a moment think that a Bengal is less of a commitment than a dog.  Our Bengal at least needs to be entertained, she yowls, climbs the curtains and  goes to the toile...
