I'm going to sound like a trainspotter here. Get the train to Waterloo from Platform 10 at Clapham Junction. Best to head to rear of train where you tend to get on more easily. Train from Clapham Junction to Waterloo and then Waterloo and City Line to Bank.

I do it everyday and it is far more reliable than the tube from Clapham South
