Re: Clapham prep - Diversity

My neighbours have Indian heritage and send their children to Hornsby House. I don't think it's an issue but just the demographics of this area that send their children to private school. I do agree the more Central and West you are the private schools will be more diverse but will also have super w...

Re: Clapham South violent assault

It was shared to me from Next door. The person said said her husband had been attacked randomly at around midnight leaving Clapham South tube and a police investigation said it was a " gang initiation " attack. It is shocking but I hear that is a rite of passage to be a gang member. I have...

Re: Who else feels outraged about what councils have done to Wandsworth Bridge Rd and Streatham  High Rd

While I agree with you about the LTNs being just useless for reducing pollution and in fact make it worse, I think people need to realize you can still park in Fulham and shop on Wandsworth Bridge Road. The LTN in Streatham Wells is a joke. At least Hammersmith and Fulham have spent money on ANPR to...

Re: Penhaligons

I use Bluebell sometimes and I feel it lasts ages as it's concentrated. I'm a fan but it's not my regular perfume.
On another note I don't spend much on skincare or do botox etc etc but I do splurge on perfume!

Re: Clapham South violent assault

A gang initiation apparently. Our nearest tube station. Absolutely sick and worrying that this happens in our city.
I hope the victim and his family are doing okay and crazy to think how unlucky he got when they were looking out for anyone to attack like that.

Re: Juicer

I've had an Omega Juicer for 12 years and it's still going strong. I haven't seen what's new out there as I bought this a while ago. It was recommended by thosebwho take juicing seriously. I am very pleased with - it's sturdy and so easy to clean too. I have a nutribullet too, but that is for blendi...

Re: Chestnut Grove zebra crossing plans are a yes

Agree. They were never going to listen to people in the neighbourhood and it was very obvious with how the consultation was carried out. Underhand as always.

Re: Streatham Wells LTN

Has your MP been of any help? Councillors should serve the people and your MP must step in.

Re: Catcalling

Dimelda, I'm not sure. Girls and boys spend a huge chunk of their lives in uniforms. To me it's opportunists and those with very poor impulse control when girls are traveling back from school and transport. You are probably right that for some perverts a school uniform can be a turn on. But you are ...

Re: Catcalling

When a young girl is in a uniform there is no doubt that she is a child. The problem is not the uniform itself or how short the skirt is, as most males have enough awareness and no interest in troubling a young girl. There is sometimes genuine confusion about a young girls age but in a uniform there...
