Re: Thomas' Clapham

Our son is in year one. He is relatively confident but went into reception knowing no one and so was quite nervous.I can’t speak more highly of the school so far. They’ve nurtured him so well and he’s so passionate and enthusiastic about everything they expose him to there. It’s been wonderful so far!

Clapham learners vs tiddlywinks

I’m really stuck choosing between little learners and tiddlywinks for an 18 month old and would love some advice?
Both look great but we also have a full time nanny so hard trying to balance the time he is with her vs in a nursery settling

Re: Thomas’s Clapham

Current Thomas’ Clapham reception parent and I’ve not heard of anyone having tutoring in reception. Our son didn’t know any letters really before going and is now reading and writing with great progress, and we’ve been thrilled with how much joy he has for school one year in.

Re: Would you do a side return build if pregnant? How bad are they?

This is exactly when we did ours and it’s the best thing I ever did. They left the day we came back from hospital and I got good value out of our new extension by using it on maternity leave. Totally worth it. Plus the nesting mode kicks in and then I loved it haha! Also once you have kids it will n...

Re: Partner saying no to me not returning to work to be a full time mum.

My son is now 3.5 and I am the main bread winner. Due to some issues with my role I ended up taking 14 months and I really dreaded going back as I loved being with my little one so much. Being a full time working mum is not easy. But having seen my son aged 2,2.5, 3 etc I’m so glad I went back. I kn...

Re: Thurleigh Road Surgery

This surgery has become a joke in recent months. Can never chose which doctor to speak to. Can never see anyone at all. The reception staff are so rude and self important they’ve even hung up on me recently so I’ve made several formal complaints! I’ve had a number of specific issues that were previo...

Can anyone suggest any pregnancy exercise classes between the commons/battersea/Clapham? Or PT groups etc? I did Pilates last time but the group no longer exists!
