I would also recommend looking at Eveline Day (in Balham). It is a small school and lots of focus on drama & arts. There is plenty of reading, writing and maths but it is very balanced overall. The head is very quick to reply and to help parents in this position (we moved our daughter there this...

If you are looking at the White House it is worth looking at Eveline Day as well. They both have a similar small school feel about them.
Eveline Day is also open 51 weeks of the year 7:30-6:30. The kids can actually go to school during holidays. It is a great wrap around care for working parents.
