when mine was interveiwed they took them off and read them a story and then asked them questions about it. They also asked them to tell a story (according to my son). He also drew a picture of a spider. He thinks the picture of the spider clinched it!
thanks for the quick reply! we want to go somewhere hot and so we know we need to fly. More than three hours flight seems too much for the kids so it's probably Europe. Don't want to camp but doesn't have to be a posh hotel. What we really want are decent kids clubs so that we don't feel too guilty ...
The good news is that we've suddenly got the time off for a quick week away at the end of the month but the bad news is I have no idea where to go. Two children: 4 and 2 years old. Somewhere hot and not too expensive - any ideas anyone?
I can only speak from personal experience but we used Teddies in Balham. Its an old Victorian building so its perhaps not the best design for a nursery but the staff were wonderful, they have a big garden and the kids loved it. Also heard that Caterpillar and Gateway in Balham are also very good.
Every Saturday morning on Wandsworth Common from 10am there is organized football coaching. There are many different groups, personal favourite is the one organized by Finton House masters.
