Thank you for all your advice.

I am still plucking up courage to say something but I need to as last night was the worst yet.

Felt like shouting out suggestions

My neighbours are very loud

Hi We live in a typical London terrace house and our bedroom has a fireplace which "shares" the chimney with the house on the other side of the wall. On a really quiet night with not much traffic or wind I can hear my neighbours in their bedroom. Some nights they sound muffled and I can on...

Re: I have to lose a stone in three weeks!

Today I am very hung over. The wedding went very very well. I think I looked good, I certainly felt ace and I got a lot compliments. :D This morning I am a little concerned that my attempt to look sultry and interesting may have been slightly banjaxed by my wild dancing to Sister Sledge but you can'...

Re: I have to lose a stone in three weeks!

All still going well and one week to go and on course for the target. Sodding boring though! The best thing I found, and this is really really boring, is I did a food diary. I just wrote down EVERYTHING I ate and after a day it was a LOT more that I would have thought. So I am exercising, eating wel...

He looked lovely and brooding. Piers Morgan - also at a cricket match. He's a bit bigger than I expec...

Re: Ravenstone Primary school in Balham

I've got some friends with kids there and they love it.

The only downside, and this is with state schools full stop, is that they don't do a huge amount of organised sport.

They spend their weekends on the Common in the organised football sessions and that gets in the sport fix!

Its a great school.

Re: Ravenstone Primary school in Balham

Absolutely on the up and up. To be blunt as the overspill from Clapham bought in Balham increasing numbers of middle class couples had kids and needed somewhere to send them. Ten years ago you'd have struggled to find any yummy mummys sending their brood to Ravenstone, now they tell you with pride t...

Too old at 66 to have a baby???

Even though a part of me is happy for her an even bigger part of me feels that this isn't right. To give birth at 66 seems wrong. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1182919/A-baby-66-desperate-divorcee-set-Britains-oldest-mother.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Or i...

My little one is showing a strong interest in learing the piano and I want to know where to get one from.

Does anyone have any ideas without breaking the bank?
