Does anyone know if it is true that there will be a new pub or bar opening in the empty All Bar One space in March? I was out with girlfriends last night and they mentioned it although they didn't know the name? Fingers crossed, it will be good to get some of the empty slots filled in along Northcot...

You don't say where they live but I noticed that Brindisa also do lovely hampers if you want to do something a bit different, especially if they love cheese. I am sure th...

Northcote Road quiet?

Is it just me or is Northcote Road very quiet? Met a friend for coffee at Gails yesterday and both noticed how quiet the shops were. Could be a lull pre Christmas but I do feel we need to support our local shops if we want to keep Northcote Road as lovely as it is.

Re: Parents not paying for end of year present?

Apologies if that wasn't clear. These are people who said that they would like to contribute on our class WA.  I'm not chasing people willy nilly.

Parents not paying for end of year present?

Not sure what, if anything I can do here. I have been a class rep for my prep school year and sorted out the end of year present. Getting cash out of parents has been a nightmare. I have been chasing a handful for nearly a month. Its not a large amount of money but likewise, not really sure why I sh...
