Re: where to buy loo roll

As this morning even Poundland in Southside didn't have any toilet paper and Sainsburys and Waitrose shelves were getting pretty bare of any kind of product!  I had a look at my local shops yesterday and they didn't have the stock or they were overpriced so a lot of families can't really rely on the...

Re: Student work or Stay at Home Mum Ad hoc

I think no one applied for this because you are not paying enough.Knowing the area,I also think it would definitely take longer than 3 hours to do a proper job.

We just buy gifts for our son and my husband and I get a small token for each other or something "big" (more expensive) for the house if needed. My advice to you is make this the last year you ask for suggestions and instead of buying the gift they "suggested" ...

Heaver Estate

This evening by chance we passed by Hilbury Road / Mandville Road and we noticed that almost every house on Mandville Road has a "name plaque". I googled for more information but I really couldn't find anything.Anyone local knows the history of the area? :)

Re: Bertie & Boo Northcote Road Closing this weekend

Bertie & Boo; What about Southside shopping centre and surrounding area? Plenty of good size empty shops. When Gymboree was in Southside (long time ago) it was very popular.
