Re: Anti-vaccinator now recants...

I couldn't agree with you more Doman. Happy to take a free ride on herd immunity until it affects her family personally.

I'd also make it mandatory for children well enough to receive the vaccine.

Re: New sibling policy from next year confirmed!

I've posted this about 100 times, but basically, it will only apply to BV and HW if they choose to follow the Wandsworth model. As I understand it these schools have greater control of their own admissions policy. It frankly drives me bonkers that these schools were used as the justification for cha...

Re: New sibling policy from next year confirmed!

in the draft wording consulted on, there were transitional provisions stating that as long as you hadn't moved since the last child was admitted before 2016, then you would be OK.

Re: école du parc or les petite heaven nursery???

Don't know about the Ofsted, but yes the 15 hours does apply to EDP. The subsidy is for ages 3 and 4 only.

Re: Chicken Pox Vaccine

Re: école du parc or les petite heaven nursery???

Both our children thrived at EdP. We absolutely loved it and can't speak highly enough of the school. It also significantly improved their French - we are a bilingual family - before my children could understand but not speak French, and now they are fully fluent. It's a very caring and supportive e...

Re: Nappy Valley estate agent commission levels?

We paid 1% last year. Not sure if market moved since then. definitely get multiple valuations and make it clear the listing is being evaluated by several agents.

Re: Doctor Recommendations in Clapham Old Town

Ps as a former patient of Clapham Manor as well I can confirm Lavender Hill are miles better. When i moved back to SW4, I refused to go back to Clapham Manor, I remember having to queue up outside in winter with a sickly baby before 8am to try to get an appointment. That was years ago so might have ...

Re: Doctor Recommendations in Clapham Old Town

Are you in the catchment for Lavender Hill Practice? They are exceptionally good. They are also the local teaching practice. There's only one doctor I was not keen on there, all the others were absolutely excellent. I am still a bit miffed as we moved out of their catchment and they were the best GP...

French Tutor for Adult

Hi, I already have a good level of French but want to improve to a fully fluent level especially at a formal/business level.

Is there anyone who's got some experience teaching French who'd been keen on some tutoring work? I would strongly prefer someone with French as their mother tongue.
