Re: Good website to order prints of digital photos?

I use a variety of services - snapfish, photobox and bootsphoto.com (also run by photobox) in the past.

Depending on what you're looking for, the thing I like about photobox/boots is that they do 4.5" x 6" prints as well as the standard 4" x 6" so they don't crop the image at all.

Re: Hypnobirthing and Pilates workshop 12th june sunday10-1pm.

Just to add, I've been doing regular antenatal pilates classes with Rosa for a few months now and can really recommend her. She's a great teacher and the classes are very relaxing as well as geared towards being in good shape during pregnancy and for birth.

Re: Pilates with baby classes?

I do ante-natal pilates classes with Rosa who runs http://www.pilatespluswellness.com/. I know she also does classes where you can take your baby. Whilst I haven't taken this class (yet!), I would really recommend Rosa as a teacher, and have definitely found the classes I'm doing beneficial. There's...

Re: Children's birthday cakes

I believe there's still a Bon Bon in Abbeville Road. Not sure if it's the same people behind it though.

Re: can anyone recommend an estate agent?

With the benefit of hindsight - I would advise you to choose an agent that you like and trust. That may sound woolly, but it'll make the whole process a lot less stressful if you can communicate well with them. So I actually had a very good experience with Jacksons in Balham, but I think that was ve...

Re: Fairy Cake recipe...?

Hi, I'm not familiar with the Nigella recipe, but I use a Victoria sponge one which is very straightforward: 4oz caster sugar, 4 oz butter, 4oz SR flour and 2 eggs. (Note that this is based on equal amounts of each ingredient, ie. each egg theoretically weighs 2oz so to be even more precise, weigh t...

Re: Arghhh - stolen bike at Balham Tube Station

I'm really sorry to hear that. I've had 4 bikes stolen over the years - always very upsetting as you do grow attached to them.

Too late for this time round, but for any future bike, do register it at http://www.immobilise.com/ as it'll help the police track you down if they do recover it.

Re: How to reduce those bonkers childcare costs?

We have been looking into the options as well recently - comparing nanny share and nursery. If like me you will be going back to work full time (or maybe 4 days a week) then it seemed that the nursery came out cheaper - typically around £300 per week rather than a nanny share at £400 by the time you...

Recommendations for an IFA

With our first baby on the way very soon, I'm keen to review the family finances - pensions, life insurance, mortgage, investments, wills etc. Does anyone have a good independent financial advisor that they can recommend? Thanks!
