Re: Direct train to Whitgift - cancelled again - pls sign the petition

Goldhawk - you are absolutely right- I've checked again and someone has taken it out - it was definitely there at 2030 this evening (and showing a delay). No help at this time of night I know but I will email Janes Ellison's office - again! - we need Southern to ensure this train is flagged in their...

Re: Direct train to Whitgift - cancelled again - pls sign the petition

Go into the Southern app, tap on the bottom left corner, and select journey planner - choose to and from stations (Wandsworth common/CJ and south Croydon) - on the upper left tap on "leaving now" and change to tomorrow's date and a time of 7.20am - then it will show. It definitely ran yesterday and ...

Re: Direct train to Whitgift - cancelled again - pls sign the petition

It is definitely running - a load of the boys caught it today (albeit being 2 mins late) including my son. It is shown in the journey planner within the Southern App (expected slightly delayed at 7.35am - how do they already know the night before that it will be late!!!!!)

Re: Direct train to Whitgift - cancelled again - pls sign the petition

The train is definitely running - and will continue to run during the strikes planned this week- we have reconfirmed this through Jane Ellison's office. Timetable updating has proven more complex but Southern have now said that they can update on a daily basis 24 hours in advance until next Monday w...

Re: Has anyone had a "boob job"?

I can only encourage you to go ahead - I was exactly in your position ten years ago and it Was a fabulous decision - has helped me keep my self confidence - for me it was just restoring what I had before kids and breastfeeding! And they look so natural - no one ever asks (no scars visible at all). P...

Re: Flip Out Wandsworth Taster Session on May 11th!

Hi - I have been trying to make an enquiry about bringing a charity group of children in late June for our annual outing. I sent an email a few weeks ago but have had no response - can you give me an email address or phone number to retry. Thank you.

FOSTERING FORTNIGHT

Have you ever thought you might have room in your home and your heart for another child - maybe one that you didn't give birth to but who needs a safe and loving home - maybe only for a few days or weeks - maybe for longer? There are local children in Wandsworth urgently in need of a foster carer to...

Re: Is tutoring a must

I agree wholeheartedly with Northcoteluvvies analysis- the challenge comes because you will not really know how smart your child is until you see how your child fares at school and get some results! The purpose of tutoring in my mind is to prepare children for the format and requirements of these pr...

Re: Worries about creepy sleepover family

Reading your original post I am highly concerned for this child and the siblings - - early sexualised behaviour coupled with an unhealthy interest in trauma and death is not usual behaviour and could indicate that there are child protection issues at home - if you are brave enough to at least tell m...

Re: Belleville bid to open New School

It was a highly competitive process - the Dept for Education received many applications from schools realising that this might be the last chance for a while given a potential change of government with the upcoming election. Belleville made it through to the second round but was unsuccessful on this...

Re: Belleville bid to open New School

Just to be absolutely clear - there is no proposal to further expand Belleville. Rather the school is making a bid to the Dept of Education to establish a new school under a multi- Academy Trust arrangement, ideally to serve the same SW116 community if a suitable site can be found. That said, if the...
