Think we should have a Peoples Vote on the Brexit deal? Please MARCH 23rd June to Parliament Square & let's stop Brexit

This is just to show any Remain folk who might have missed it, that there’s a campaign, growing in strength, for a People’s vote on Brexit. Not a rerun or second referendum, no. It’s a vote on the deal now that people can see the Brexit that was promised isn’t achievable, that ANY Brexit will make o...

London Fine Fish now have two collection points in Wimbledon SW19 - order by 9pm!

Just a very quick note to tell you about two new collection points for London Fine Fish in Wimbledon Park and Wimbledon Village that are kindly supporting us. The service is Thursdays only at present but will be expanding soon. Because these hubs are a little further afield, the minimum order value ...

Re: London elections: Could Conservative-run Wandsworth become a Labour council?

I voted for George Hilton for Renew in Fairfield ward too, though I also gave my other two votes to Lib Dems and Greens. That's how to vote remain folks! If you're a Labour voter but deplore Brexit, please give a Remain party just one of your votes and you can send a message. I've also voted Tory in...

A 'Vote Remain' poster for your window, EU nationals please use your vote to send a message to your MP on Brexit

This post isn't to plug any particular political party in the elections on Thursday but simply to express the sentiment that anyone who loathes the idea of Brexit should vote for one of those offering a final say on the deal in the form of a People’s vote. Sadly, Labour are enabling Brexit while hol...

Please help our local food education and growing cooperative Paradise Coop - a fab community resource is under threat

This made me furious when I found out. Some of you might have heard of a charity and small growing cooperative called Paradise Coop that has reclaimed a patch of scrub land opposite Wandsworth prison and turned it into an amazing and beautiful community resource. They offer local kids the chance to ...

Re: Door to door fish salesmen- dodgy?

Yes search 'door to door fish' on this here and you'll find a thread that ran a long time and finished with a few of these people threatening me with violence (the police had to get involved). They are probably not all bad, but many of them were selling rotten frozen fish and ripping off vulnerable ...

Re: London elections: Could Conservative-run Wandsworth become a Labour council?

Couple of things Atbattersea, I completely agree that Wandsworth Council allowing the Power Station developers to renege on their commitment to affordable housing was disgraceful and something definitely has to change there. I also agree that Labour needs to see votes for them as a protest vote but ...

Re: London elections: Could Conservative-run Wandsworth become a Labour council?

I don't really take a party political view on this because our national Tory government are lying morons and Labour are equally failing to provide any sort of decent opposition. I find it incredibly frustrating that, despite having voted Labour tactically to alter Parliamentary arithmetic in the las...

Re: Nursery list around Northcote Road area

My two girls both went to Bright Horizons next to the Roundhouse pub on Wandsworth Common northside and very close to Northcote road. Good ofsted rating, great outside space, but most importantly really well managed and lovely staff. My daughters bonded very strongly with a few of the ladies there i...

Please write to your MP (takes 30 secs tops with this form) and demand a final say on Brexit with a #Peoplesvote

Ok, so, if you believe Brexit is an insufferably stupid act of self harm and the British people ought to have a final say on what it actually means (us ALL being poorer), would you mind terribly letting your MP know? For many of us in Battersea/Wandsworth, it's marsha.decordova.mp@parliament.uk, it ...

My god you’re beyond ridiculous. Please quote where I have acccused you of belonging to anything. You can’t Ibecause it’s not there is it? I repeated what I said in an earlier post, so you are simply a LIAR, and I suspect many on this site pity you for your seemingly constant ant bitterness. Stop. L...
