Re: proposed new boundary-low emission zone

you may find that your diesel registered in August 2015 ,and only just over two years old They will be six years old when this is introduced. The air quality figures around here are shocking, and I can't really find fault with trying to improve it. (And I drive a non-exempt diesel, so will have to ...

If you have a petrol car manufactured after 2006 you'll be exempt.

If you have a diesel car you shouldn't be using it for such short runs anyway, as it emits NO2 and particulates that are hugely damaging to your children's health.

Re: proposed new boundary-low emission zone

Hardly ide...

Re: Locals' restaurant offer at Macellaio RC Northcote Rd

Macellaio is absolutely brilliant, great food and outstanding service -- well worth trying if you haven't been. A great addition to Northcote Road.

Re: Star Wars - The Last Jedi

There's nothing scary, no "real" violence, no bad language, etc -- so any age really.

The only issue is that it is utterly, utterly boring and far too long.

Re: Respondents said Wandsworth is 'snooty'. Fircroft Primary School disagrees. What do you think?

Apparently this is based on "an online survey asking 400 Londoners from all 32 boroughs" -- or just 12.5 people per borough. Not nearly enough to be statistically relevant.

Re: Volvo Repair

Bolingbroke motors are now by Newton Prep - cant remember new name but number is same - 02077389490 Now I'm slightly confused: The number you mention is for what used to be the Budget Motorist Centre at 126 Bolingbroke Grove (a.k.a. Nightmare Junction). They are indeed still going. Bolingbroke Moto...

Re: Bike recommendation for 5y

Islabikes, either a Cnoc (no gears) or Beinn (with gears). Islabikes are expensive, but buy second hand, and you'll recover most of the cost when you sell it on in a few years. Size depends on your son's height, probably a 20. Buy the largest one he can ride on with the saddle all the way down, and ...

Re: Mum and daughter class

Picassos in the Park are great, and aimed at your daughter's age.

(I'm not 100% sure whether they normally let parents stay/help, but Chloe and Laura who run it are very helpful, so maybe contact them and ask?)
