Re: CROSSRAIL 2 VENTILATION SHAFT (AGAIN)

Please check out this flyer on how to protest.

It also shows a picture image of what the 'destruction' will look like on the common, looks quite severe to me and a total disruption to this side of the common, children walking to school, and to any traffic or commuters using
Bollingbroke Grove.

Re: Help! how can i feel less stressed, my legs are killing

I have been wearing converse trainers all summer and realised my feet were literally cracked and sore from all the walking with buggy on pavements. I went to footlocker at cj and bought a pair of Nike trainers with the air bubble in the sole, and they have revolutionised my walking. I hadn't factore...

Re: Tips for cleaning bath toys

I've heard you can put the bath toys in the dishwasher and it gets rid of the black gunk but I haven't tried it myself.

CROSS Rail 2 - Top of Honeywell Road Proposal

Just seen the e bulletin from the local council re Cross Rail 2. Having opposed it being by Skylark (which I am glad they aren't doing) they are now proposing it on the other side of the common by the duck pond by Bollingbroke Grove, which is also enjoyed by lots of children and a beautiful open gre...

Re: Homeless man in Grandison road playground

Hiya, We saw him too last week. My daughter went into the raised little house bit, which has a table in it, and he was in there, which gave us quite a shock, as she slipped when she saw him. He was very polite and apologised and was packing up his stuff. I wondered if he was a refugee or something? ...

Lost teddy

We've mislaid a very loved teddy today and can't find him.

It's an easy jet gulliver bear (light brown and very chewed!) and could be on Wandsworth common swings by chilvary road or Clapham Common or on the roads leading to either common off northcote road.

Please contact me if he turns up!

Re: Creche places available

We have also just finished a year at Little Learners. I did two mornings a week to give me some well earnt me-time! Also my daughter had never been left, so it was a good experience for her and she absolutely loved playing in the little outside play area which is totally safe with her friends. Every...

Log Steps- Playground nr Skylark - Dangerous?

My daughter had a nasty fall the other day, backwards down the log steps that go over the small fence that divide the playground nr the Skylark cafe. Luckily she was fine, but she did a full somersault down them and it was really distressing to watch. Looking at the steps, I think they are really da...

Mini Chairs and Table for Toddler Birthday Party - Hire?

Does anyone know where I could hire some mini toddler chairs and a long table for a 2nd birthday party (which isn't too expensive)? We have a patio garden, so not comfortable for a picnic, and our kitchen chairs are really rickety! Any other tips for 2nd birthdays, what did you do? Can't quite get m...

Re: Wedding/engagement ring polished

My friend used to work for a jeweller and they use a machine called a super sonic jewellery cleaner, which cost about £30-40 on Amazon. It just uses bubbles that clean the jewellery. Apparently it cleans any stones or rings so they are sparkling! Maybe worth the investment, I am thinking of getting ...
