Hi all - my friend has a "Stella and Dot" franchise, selling jewellery, bags, scarves and other accessories. If you are looking for xmas pressie ideas, I can definitely recommend it - I'd never heard of them before she joined them, but I bought a few things last year in the £20 - £40 price range and...

Re: Primary school application form - advice please!

Thanks Goldhawk, I agree, don't think it makes sense to leave it blank. Just wanted views to check this (I'm rubbish at knowing whether there are tactics in these kind of things, or if it really is as straightforward as it seems)

Primary school application form - advice please!

Hi - we are filling out the primary school application form. We have 5 schools we would be happy with and we will put down on the form. All of these are within a reasonable distance of our home (I think all within a mile), although with catchment areas being what they are I know that we would not ha...

Re: Registration at birth for prep schools

Although it seems crazy, register ASAP. We thought we were early in registering our child at Hornsby when he was 6 weeks old (for entry sept 2017) and we have just heard that we were not early enough! (And he is an Autumn baby so we were registering early in the academic year) So if you are serious ...

Re: Wanted: Stokke Tripp Trapp with baby seat

Hi - hopefully managed to attached 2 photos here. It is dismantled but all pieces complete and in good condition. The only damage I am aware of are some small chips to the paint to the bottom front of the legs. Second photo shows this.

Re: self catering in the Algarve

Hi - we stayed in Belmar Spa and Beach Resort on outskirts of Lagos last year, from memory about 1.5 miles from town centre. It is very close to a lovely beach, in a fairly residential area. But would recommend having a car for at least part of the time as it is too far to walk to supermarket and ca...

Wanted: Lascal Buggy Board Mini

Hi - looking to buy Lascal Buggy Board Mini. I really only need the Board bit, I foolishly let our one drop onto the pavement with a bit of a clunk and a vital spring has snapped out of it. Hoping our son is very soon off the Board for good so don't particularly want to spend on a brand new one . . ...
