Re: Please DON'T buy H. Forman and son smoked salmon from Waitrose (Lance Forman MEP has heinous bigoted views) - boycot

Sounds good but prob not tomorrow as it's Father's Day and we are out. Just to say, I enjoy having a friendly chat to anyone who isn't going to me scream at me that I'm a bigot, racist, stupid etc as per Guy's posts. Massive long rants in capitals, encouraging boycotts and insulting people who disag...

Re: Please DON'T buy H. Forman and son smoked salmon from Waitrose (Lance Forman MEP has heinous bigoted views) - boycot

Unbelievable, he's still at it! Haven't heard a peep out this odious whining boring little man for ages (banned?) and had hoped he'd gone off in private to have his mental breakdown after not getting his way but failing to get over it, splitting up his family and ruining his business and now having ...

How much time do boarding schools let kids go on devices each day?

Hi, my oldest child is starting boarding school in September and the house master says boarders are allowed 2 hours per evening to go on their devices. They can actually do anything in that free time, but knowing my son, he will be on his devices for the entire 2 hours if he can!! I'd love to know w...

Re: Husband's financial deceit means son now can't go to private school

There's good advice above about asking the school asap if you are eligible for a bursary in these circumstances. If that doesn't work out, I don't think I'd get into too much detail with your son about your husband being deceitful. I'd be rope-able in your situation but that's for you and him to dis...

Re: Heaver estate gardens

All the roads between Ritherdon and Tooting Bec Road are pretty good. Some of the roads have more of the houses split up into rundown bedsits/social housing so you should check this if you'd rather live next to a long-term resident/family/someone who owns the whole house rather than lots of individu...

Re: Please VOTE in the European Elections on 23rd May, and vote REMAIN!

I agree with you Blenkarne. He's not just treating NVN as his personal soapbox, he is doing the same thing on Nextdoor and Scooploop which are also local community sites and they are just the ones I know about. It's unpleasant, bullying, head-bashing, hugely irritating and his willingness to break u...

Re: Clapham Common playground - a disgrace

Why waste valuable public time and money on a public consultation? It's pretty obvious what equipment needs to be repaired and upgraded so just get on and do it.

The one and same Dickyd. Talk about getting your priorities in the right order  😕

His version of "brief" cracks me up. If that's a brief post I'd hate to see a long one!

Re: Debenhams in Wandsworth to close

The last time I went to Debenhams was about a year ago to buy a suitcase - and that was in the Tripp concession so it wasn't even properly Debenhams.

Re: Manifesto Pizza

Great to know. I've become fed up with Franco Manca. The toppings have gotten so stingy!

I tried another really good one with Deliveroo recently: Aubergine in Tooting. Best I've had.

Re: Debenhams in Wandsworth to close

Ahh, that's a shame. I think it might be the Southside one because the list says Wandsworth. If it was the CJ one it would be listed as Clapham Juncton or Battersea I'd think?

Re: Female dogs on heat - please don't walk them on the Common!

Well said NV husband. I'm glad the OP posted this as she's received the exact opposite response she was expecting ... hopefully she will re-consider her views and behaviour. Why should her dog who, she treats as a breeding commodity, have full access to the Common and other dogs be expected to only ...
