Re: poker of catchment areas: Honeywell v Bellev v alderbroo

Welcome to the Nightingale Triangle! My daughter is due to start at Alderbrook this September and I am very confident that we will be happy with the school. This area has changed massively in the last few years (we have lived here for 10 years) - you only have to look at the increased house prices. ...

Wheat free / Dairy free in Spain

Hi,

We are taking my mum in law to Majorca and she is wheat/lactose intolerant. Anyone had any success buying specialist foods out there or should we take stuff with us? Don't fancy packing sheep's milk yoghurt...

What to do with old LPs

Anyone been able to pass on old vinyls? I have about 50 records, all in good condition, all crooners/easy listening. Shirley Bassey, James Last, Perry Como, Sound of Music, Seekers etc. Not expecting money for them, just hoping they won't go to landfill just yet.

Re: Going quietly insane looking for a cotton nightie...

Mini Lunn

www.minilunn.co.uk or use notonthehighstreet

I have found one for £18 but have also paid P&P. It seems steep but take the point about being fire resistant.

Again, thanks for replies.

Going quietly insane looking for a cotton nightie...

...for my four year old daughter. I am looking for a fairly plain (pearl ball buttons not required), sleeveless, 100% cotton nightdress. Very few of the usual suspects (Petit Bateau, GAP, Boden, etc.) seem to even sell nighties for kids. Those that do, sell 100% polyester (even my beloved John Lewis...

Re: Paint needed please

Try Force Homecare on Bedford Hill in Balham. We bought some Little Greene paint in the colour Oak Apple. We decided it was wrong and returned it. As it is mixed to order, we didn't expect a refund, we suggested that Abdul give it to anyone who wanted it / needed it. He may have other pots going spa...

Re: Do you like your kitchen worktop?

We have just installed Silestone's recycled glass (in their eco range). It looks like granite but not as pretty and has that problem with a polished surface when you want to wipe it all the time. We went for recycled glass because it is eco-friendly, like Richlite, and hard wearing but I prefer the ...

Ladies Watch found on Clapham Common

Watch found. Sekonda, missing its face and needs to have strap fixed (appears to have been trodden on) but still working and might be being missed. Please call or email me with a accurate description to claim. If not claimed over the next week, the lady who found it would like to keep it and have it...

Re: Style Ideas Colliers Wood - any experience?

That is good to hear. For anyone looking for a one stop shop for worktops, tiles, fabrics, wood floors (and probably more) this is a good local option.

Re: Style Ideas Colliers Wood - any experience?

Happy ending but likely to be just that, an end to our relationship. I received most of the goods. Some tiles (that they do not normally stock) were promised but never materialised... but I had an alternative supplier. Style Ideas offer great competitive prices, are open 7 days a week (very helpful ...
