Re: Teenager stabbed in Tooting town centre

This was one of several stabbings in the Capital last night. I really can't believe it. So so sad, what is going on?!!

Re: Kybella for double chin, any advice?

A friend of mine had cool sculpting for excess fat on her under arms and she thinks it has improved.  Not sure if that translates to other areas of the body. She had it done at the Glass House just off N Cote Road. Would love to know how you get on if you go ahead. I think I may be in need at some p...

Re: Delicious Sunday Roast on Northcote Road :)

OMG I didn't realise it was a restaurant - I thought it was a whiskey club, with just drinking etc. Sounds fab, we will try it out for sure. Really keen to see our local independents survive.

Re: **Looking for a dog walker and trainer in the Balham area**

2 of my neighbours and a local friend use The Dogfather for walking and boarding too when they go away. All very happy! Just another suggestion!

Re: Locksmith recommendation needed!

Hi RobinM
Try SDS on Northcote Road. I had a lovely experience wih them a few months back. One of their locksmiths fixed rather than replaced an old lock as I had just had several sets of keys cut. V impressed!

Re: Side return extension

Approx £50k would be a fair estimate I would say. It spends on what sort of floor, doors, skylights etc you choose. Do you want underfloor heating etc?? There are some quite expensive options out there. Whatever you do make sure you get a detailed plan and breakdown of costs before you sign on the d...

Re: French Doors Replacement

Try Ayrton Windows in Earlsfield. They get quite a few recommendations on this site. Alternatively try one of the bespoke carpentry companies?

Re: Thomas's Kindergarten - am I too late to apply?

I don't think so. In any case they run a wait list and it does move. Many people hedge their bets and keep several options open.

Re: Roche Nursery Views

I visited the Roche last year on an Open morning and was really impressed with the atmosphere and the staff that I spoke to. They also have a great write up in the The Good Schools Guide too. https://www.goodschoolsguide.co.uk/schools/the-roche-school-london/98740B8#tab_review Not sure if this helps...

Re: Brilliant idea to reduce waste and lower cost of giving gifts at childrens’ birthdays - Fiver parties – anyone tried

I think it is a great idea. I'm all for pooling resources to buy one more keepsake gift. Works for every age group I would say including adults.

Present for a three and half year old girl who likes unicorns

Could anyone recommend a gift for a three and half year old girl who loves all things pink but loves fairies and adores unicorns. Would like to buy something unicorn themed but a bit stumped. £25 would be about the amount I would like to spend.

Many thanks for any ideas
