Learn and Groove Activity Station

This is a brilliant bit of kit that has kept my babies amused for hours! Just like the one in the link and in very good condition. The only part that does not work is the microphone but it hasn't since we bought it. £35. Collection from Wandsworth Common. http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Toys/Wa...

I'm selling our Maclaren Rocker baby chair. It's like the one in this link only it's navy blue. The seat cover could probably do with a wash but other than that it's in great condition. £30. Collection from Wandswoth Common.

Re: Camberwell?

Before I had kids I lived just off Bellenden Road in Peckham Rye and it was lovely. Very close to Peckham Rye Station for easy access into town and less than ten minutes walk to Lordship Lane in East Dulwich for lovely shops and cafes. I can't comment on the schools but I agree it is a lovely area. ...

Re: Private midwives

I had late onset pre-eclampsia with my first baby and C&W induced me at 39 weeks plus 5. I had quite a dramatic, medical delivery but it was all fine and I had a very healthy daughter. With my second pregnancy I started to get raised blood pressure around 30 weeks but managed to keep it under contro...

Re: More chilled out second time around?

Oh how lovely to hear that you are so much more relaxed and enjoying your new baby. I have three and have been progressively more relaxed with each one which has only brought benefits in my opinion. Enjoy every second of your baby sleeping on you, my only slight caveat would be to ensure you don't d...

Re: Help with children's party entertainers - like Playball!

I am a big fan of Sharky and George parties. Very physical, lots of running around, and good fun. My daughter had one for her 5th birthday and loved it. http://www.sharkyandgeorge.com/

Re: Do any prams fit in a Fiat 500?

I'd head down to Peppermint on Northcote Road with your car and try putting one in your boot. They are really helpful down there and stock a good range so I bet they'll find you one that fits. Good luck.

Re: Private midwives

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I used Annie and Tina from South London Independent Midwives for my last pregnancy. http://southlondonindependentmidwives.co.uk/ They were both fantastic. I felt totally supported all the way through my pregnancy and particularly in the all important labour and pos...

Re: Travelling with car seats and buggies

The last time I flew with car seats I bought one of the really large, checked laundry bags you can buy for about £2.99. It was great. One
of the handles broke on the bag but other than that our two car seats arrived clean and intact. I'd definitely do the same again.
