Re: Broomwood Hall offers - Nightingale Lane and Garrard's Road

we wanted NL and got offered GR - didn't know any better so just accepted it
this wasn't for a summer born child

same happened to a friend - she said sorry GR is no good for me - they relented and gave her NL

I think they just try it on as GR is less popular

Don't know what the lists were like last year

However the year before the list moved a lot - over 35 places from Oct to school starting

Re: Sitters.co.uk Anyone used them?

We have been using them for 5 years and can usually get the same sitters

Works out about £10 an hour with the agency fees but most local nannies want £8-10 plus a lift/taxi home

Re: Football for children on Wandsworth common

The group that plays by the Bolingbroke/Nightingale side is Broomwood FC
It's 10.30 - 12 every Saturday until May

It's £30 subs for the year, it's run by parents and you have to stay with your kids who play in their school year groups
To register etc just head for the gazebo

Re: Holy Ghost, Nightingale Square- declining quality??

Friends have kids there and seem happy enough but they are not near secondary transfer yet

What do you mean by strict about religion?
You of course need a reference from HG church re your attendance

The local indies will be more diverse in one way as they are only selective on £££
