thanks. i started off looking at nannies but was surprised how expensive they are. i spoke to a couple of agencies and they said for 12 hours a day i'd have to pay c.£850 pw gross, which is getting on for £45k a year which just seems hard to justify compared to the cost of nursery for one child. a...

Nursery with longer than average hours

Hi does anyone know of a nursery that will take children for a little longer than average, ideally around SW11. Of the ones i've seen, Kids Unlimited do 7.30-18.00, Baby Rooms do 8.00-18.30, and Northcote Gardens do 8.00-19.00. In an ideal world i would love somewhere that would take my daughter fro...

Air Travel with Bugaboo Cameleon

HI all - i'm shortly off to france with my 11 week old baby and our Bugaboo Cameleon. I'm a bit unsure about how to transport it on the plane (British Airways if that makes a difference), given that we are still using the carrycot. I would like to start looking for a full time nanny to start in a couple of months in SW11, but have no idea where to start. I assume it is safest and easiest to go through an agency?
