Re: Parking ticket.......

Nothing will happen to you.

You were within your rights to get in and drive off.

Parking ticket only valid once it has been attached to the car.

All is good! :D

Re: Milk in a Sippy Cup?

I think I got mine in Sainsbury's or Asda, but they're everywhere.

Look here on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amadeus-5031438 ... B001AUF2I4

Re: Milk in a Sippy Cup?

I had a similar thing with my 13 month old. I managed to solve it by getting a separate sippy cup especially for her milk. I got the cow one as it seemed fitting! I think she associated the tommy tippee one with water and then ewas confused when milk was suddenly in it. But as the cow one was new, s...

Re: Nanny v Childcare?

Totally agree with all of the above! I went through a similar process of weighing up the 2 options 6 months ago. The only real downside I could see with a nanny was the cost which when you only have one child is considerable compared to a nursery. We got round that by joining a nannyshare. This has ...

Re: MMR given without my consent

Just googled it and answered my own question!

See link below if anyone, like me, wondered what risks were......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMR_vaccine_controversy

It seems there's nothing to worry about anymore as the links to autism were proven to be fraudulent.

Re: MMR given without my consent

Oh dear, what an unecessarily stressful situation! I have my daughter's 12 month jabs tomorrow, (although she is actually 13 months now) so I'm glad you warned me about this before hand. What doctors surgery was it that has this policy? Also, does anyone what are the current thoughts about the MMR j...

Re: Ideas for activities with one year olds

I went there on the weekend and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I can't believe we have nothing else like this in this area with all the under 5's we have! I wish it would stay open. The girl working on the weekend said that its due to close this coming saturday which is such a shame. :( Also, ...

Re: Help! Moving back to London

Why don't you just tell Wandsworth council that you've moved back already? You can then either set up postal redirection for 6 months or speak to your tenant to get them to forward any school related post to you abroad. I don't see anything wrong with that. You still have a house in the borough and ...

WANTED Mobile Phone

My little angel has sucked yet another mobile phone to death so that I can no longer read the screen. Was wondering if anyone had an old, basic spare mobile that they wanted to get rid for a small price as I really don't want to spend a lot of money buying another phone just for the same thing to ha...

Re: Things I wish I'd known...

Fab idea!..... 1. Prop the head end of the moses basket mattress up using rolled up towels so they sleep at an incline. Babies don't like lying flat and my baby would only go to sleep on my chest until someone told me this little secret! It was a revelation and she slept through from 6 weeks old aft...

Help! - Pregnant friend gift ideas needed!

I am going on a hen weekend on Friday and part of the suprise for the hen is that everyone has to buy her a gift for around £10. She has recently discovered that she is pregnant and so my husband suggested that I get her something that I found invaluable during my pregnancy but my pregnancy went by...
