Re: Fitting 3 car seats on back seat

Highly recommend the Multimac....means we didn't have to buy a new, bigger car. Very easy to order, then we had it delivered to Sextons garage in Wandsworth where they fitted it. You can order the Minimac for your newborn.

Re: Should curtains be this expensive?

Oh gosh no, that is a total rip off. I used Julie Stewart from House of Clancy Stewart - she looked round our place, sourced the materials, sent me swatches of her recommendations, I chose the final pieces for each room and she made them all up and had them fitted and it came to a total of around 3k...

Re: Clapham Common paddling pool

Same with Tooting Lido, their paddling pool is also closed...we were there on Saturday in the scorchio weather and I was told it had been closed all week...not sure why? They sectioned off the main pool for the children, but they would have enjoyed the paddling pool more....

Re: Bunk beds

We got ours from kidsfuntimebeds.co.uk - absolutely thrilled. They do have a 7-9 week turnaround time from order to delivery (as they make to order) but well worth the wait. My children love theirs. Great customer service too.

Re: Belleville or local private prep

If you are within catchment, then Belleville all the way. Delighted with the school and the progress that my little one has made there. Lots of children from Belleville do tend to go on to private secondary and just as many go on to state secondary such as Bolingbroke - we are lucky to have excellen...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

This is the 3rd time that we have done Kimberley Swim Clinics - it was actually a lifesaver for me as the weather outside over the Easter holidays was just awful, and my children really looked forward to their lesson...this way, they were able to get out and about combined with swimming which they l...

Re: Only afford to send one to private school

Just don't do it. Please. It causes huge resentment at a later date.
Treat your children equally.
If you can only afford for one, then actuallyadad has given you the best solution.

Re: Cant decide between CWM and St Georges

Why not have a look at both and see which you think would suit you best? You say you are closest to St. Georges' so naturally that should be your first choice. Many of my friends had very positive birth experiences there so there should be nothing to worry about. I guess, doing enough research, you ...

Re: How can we fix the disgusting problem we have with dog poo EVERYWHERE?

Guy, you have my full support too. Thank you so much for pursuing this. I've lost count of the number of times we've had to dodge the poo whilst walking to and fro from school. I just wish dog owners would be more considerate and think of others when their beloved pooch is defacating on the pavement...

Re: Nurseries in Fulham

I can't say for any of the other nurseries, but I have to warn you that Bright Horizons tend to bump up their fees on an annual basis (sometimes twice annually) with very little notice (literally less than a month's notice). Any complaints about this just falls on deaf ears as they are such a large ...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

I keep trying to get my 4 year old in for lessons at the Latchmere, but each time they come back saying that it's completely full for both after school and weekend lessons. So I turned to Kimberley swim clinics and booked him in for the October half term. He was a little hesitant at first (not havin...

Re: WANTED OUTDOORSY PERSON FOR DROPPING OFF LEAFLETS!

Do leaflets really work?

I just chuck them all in the bin (and my front door has a sticker saying 'No junk mail' which gets ignored).

Please no more leaflets.

Re: Top ten places to eat?

Has anyone been to Gordon Ramsey's London House restaurant in Battersea Square recently? Any good?
Husband has booked to take me there for my birthday in a couple of weeks so hoping that it has good reviews. If not, then we have time to change the booking...! Thank you.
