Re: Overnight stay at a nice hotel with a 7 year old

I have been going to The George in Rye since my girls were born (and before). The food is fantastic and you could just indulge in leisurely breakfasts, a lazy lunch and a grown up, get dressed up supper. The hotel is very accommodating with children. There is no pool but there is one particular room...

Re: Roundhouse Kitchens

I was talking the other day to a friend who has Roundhouse. 6 years down the line, even if there is a small problem, they are there to sort it out at no cost. She is making some modifications to the kitchen and they've been really hands on.

Re: Anyone given birth to a breech baby naturally?

I gave birth naturally to twins - one breach. We were hoping the second born would turn once there was room but this wasn't the case. The consultant at C&W was unhappy about a natural birth but I was insistent. Things did get difficult and she was forceps after an episiotomy. There was a lot of ...

Re: Finally an alternative to the hated toilet brush!

brilliant idea! As the proprietor of Done & Dusted, a local cleaning company, I can concur that this is the one thing that mums loathe to have in the house - a toilet brush. Horror stories of little ones seen trying to drink the water in the receptacle, aside, they are just loathsome by their ve...

Re: kissing kids on the lips

As a mother, I always kiss my girls on the lips, however a Spanish friend said it was a most odd thing to do, even with a parent and young child. As my girls get older it will no doubt stop. For now it brings about memories of those sweet little chubby faced baby kisses! As a child I loathed kisses ...

Re: Cheeky Fox - A warning to all Parents with Young Ones

please everyone be very wary of foxes - however 'exciting' it might be for them to approach you, they should not be treated like a domestic animal.

Sadly 2 weeks ago in the night, they opened our guinea pigs cage and took them. My 2 six year old girls were understandably distraught.
