Does anyone know of antenatal pilates classes on Fridays during school hours? I have searched on the internet but unable to find any classes specific to pregnant women other than in the evenings (when I am really too tired!) or weekends. Thanks for your help

Re: Child Friendly Pub?

The most child friendly in the area is the Bread & Roses on Clapham Manor Street, i.e. you can leave your children run in the pub and in the garden without anybody being disturbed... great for a summer drink, however food not that great. I have been a number of times with my children to the Ston...

Re: Does your au pair look after your baby?

I'm sorry nanny pippins but I feel offended by your post. Childcare is not priceless unfortunately. You probably earn more than me or you don't have children. The thing is I can't afford to spend £3000+ in childcare a month (which is I think approx what a family would spend for a full time nanny ask...

Re: Nanny insurance

I dont think insurance has anything to do with being ofsted registered. I did ask my nanny to take an insurance to cover her in case a damage occurs to my children while under her care. This is also in the family's interest although not compulsory. If she is not insured you may have a claim against ...

Re: Does your au pair look after your baby?

Thanks for all your replies! I was especially looking for experiences from other families, as I have already found all these websites which are useful but at the same time, I have previously employed nannies who had very little experience at all with babies, but I still had to pay them as profession...

Does your au pair look after your baby?

Hi, I am considering having an au pair to look after 2 school aged children and one baby, however having a look online it seems that au pairs cannot be given the full responsibility of under 2 years old. I am wondering if any families are doing it anyway...

Re: paris recommendations

Yes I think bateaux mouches are really worth doing as you have views over the most famous monuments of Paris. Otherwise I would recommend a walk in the Marais (3rd/4th Arrondissements) you will find lovely restaurants, cafes, shops.... On the other side of the Seine, walk along 5th and 6th arrondiss...
