Re: Anyone using their little brown food bin?

Goldhawk - thanks for the reply.

That is one of the reasons I'm not using it. We have our bins kept secure with what feels like military grade security and those bins seem very easy in comparison.

Chorister, no fox issues for you?

Anyone using their little brown food bin?

Hello All
A niche question I know, but is anyone using their little brown food recycle bin?

I see them on the streets being blown around but I never see neighbours using them.

Would love to know if anyone is actually using them properly.

Smart heating

Hello
We've got Hive installed and it's dreadful, we really can't get on with the radiator valves and they are always too hot and or too cold.

I do however still like the idea of smart heating, has anyone found a system they like?

Re: Moth control

Does anyone know whether parasitic micro wasps really work for moth control? I think you may well have asked because of the Sunday Times article last week. If so please ignore the link below but if not then it's an archived article explaining how someone did this. It by passes the paywall - bit nau...

Re: Heathrow flightpath

Agreed.

I heard a plane go over today and actually thought to myself - "that's the first time in ages I've heard a plane."

No idea about the paths though.

Damp on internal chimney breast

Hi We've got a standard 4 bed house BTC and we're getting damp on the chimney breast in the top back bedroom. It's high up on the chimney breast near the ceiling. Over the years we've had tons of people come out to look at it and attempt to fix it claiming it was flashing on the roof or chimney stac...

Glassmills tower new plans

Hi This popped up on my Facebook feed, they've amended the plans but it'll still be a pretty big tower. I struggled to see where it was located but it's on the south side of the river across from that statue of the kid and the dolphin playing. https://glassmill.co.uk/ Screenshot 2024-11-01 at 10.38....
