Re: Estate agent contracts and vulnerable mother in law

She shouldn't sign anything & I would be looking for different estate agents, if in doubt you could always ask the solicitor that she is planning on using for the conveyancing to look over them.

If it's Realm Estates, do not use them under any circumstances.

Re: Four year old's birthday party: how many is too many children!!

The other piece of advice I would share is to see how many you have on the actual day or the day before & if you have space, say siblings are welcome to come along & that way you aren't paying for places/food/party bags that don't get used. I'm with Alchemy on paperless post or a face book i...

Re: Four year old's birthday party: how many is too many children!!

From experience, I have a 6 year old & a 2 year old, I would invite them all, some won't even bother to reply, some will say yes only to then cancel or not turn up & some won't even bother to let you know that they aren't coming. If you only invite 20 or so, you could well end up with less t...

Re: Getting rid of baby vomit from Sisal?

Soda water removed the smell & painting the stain with neat cold tea has faded the stain away so that it's almost impossible to see. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. :)

Re: Thomas's School - too late?

Try the Roche & Wandsworth Prep, as another poster said, lots of parents register with multiple schools & many move out freeing up places. It's worth calling the schools at the beg of the Autumn term as well. Good luck.

Re: Getting rid of baby vomit from Sisal?

Thank you, a friend suggested painting the white stain with cold tea so I'm trying that. Anything to avoid replacing a £1000 rug which is only 6 months old.

Getting rid of baby vomit from Sisal?

Any tips on how to remove baby vomit (formula) from a Crucial Trading Sisal Floor covering?
My sister's baby was sick all over our rug & we cannot get the white mark out. It's a made to measure rug which covers almost the entire room & the mark cannot be hidden by furniture.

Re: What do you do with your children's school artwork, photos and school momentos

This is really timely as I have boxes & boxes of it in the loft which I need to go through & sort out, a friend of mine takes photos of things rather than actually keeping them.
