Re: Brissi closing today on Northcote Road

The staff at the Fulham branch were very unhappy they had been told at such short notice the company was closing down. Having popped in I can't say I was impressed with the goods even at slashed prices. What you day makes sense.

Re: Local group set up for tactical voting and vote swapping to achieve a second referendum - Remainers please read!

Love London for better or worse it is the only place I'd want to be in the UK I didnt bother with the vote swap. The FPTP discussion does need having. I remember debating in favour of it way back at school. We have a very flawed system and Guy, that could be where we should be pouring our energy int...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Hi Greengrass, Emma Dent Coad is far from racist. She is a very good woman and respected across Kensington from North to South. I remember when they dug this blog post up and black people who actually know Shaun Bailey and other POC agreed with her and stood by her! Shaun Bailey is just not liked in...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

It would help more if the pro remain/ anti hard Brexit parties would co operate for the greater goid. The advice for Kensington is vote Labour but the Lib Dems are still dropping leaflets at this late hour. It will backfire and split the vote. Very frustrating to see this lack of co operation 😤as we...

Re: Man on Bus

Please do intervene if you ever see something untoward. As someone who travelled for 45/ 50 minutes to secondary school it used to happen far too much looking back. I do remember a man on a motorbike intervening when he noticed me and my sister being followed and harrassed and we were grateful. Also...

Best for Britain has good recommendations for Tactical Voting to thwart Boris Johnson and company's reckless path toward a no deal which will not bring us certainty, it plunge us into debt and uncertainty. Experts and financial analysts have warned us The Conservatives are going to lead anyway but w...

When people realize the biggest racists and anti Semites anti Muslims anti Black anti Gay and anti Woman are Boris, Rees Mogg and their ilk with their links to Steve Bannon and his White Supremacist Partners in Crime, it might be too late. Jews getting shot in the US, Muslims in Mosques in New Zeala...

Norman Finkelstein and David Graeber, both Jewish scholars, can enlighten you. Do search them on this matter. Also bear in mind Britain has a very violent history of " involvement" in the Middle East and for once we have a politician who going against that pattern.

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Boris Johnson is a proven racist. Jeremy Corbyn isn't a racist but a consistently vocal critic of Israel as are many people not in politics given what we know and see happens to Palestinians. The Labour party have pledged to end selling weapons to Israel and Saudi Arabia and give them military aid. ...

Re: State Secondary Schools - are they good?

That is amazing feedback for Ernest Bevin. My impression was always that it was a great school but was curious and concerned about ten Ofsted downgrade. Agree Ofsted doesnt paint the story often. It's a very local school to us and we see the boys around a lot. Interesting what you say about the misc...
