Re: Winterville in coming: Clapham Commons first ice rink

This is a long event, which is surprising, Tried to obtain local resident discounted tickets for daytime ice rink. You have to go through most of the ticket buying steps and then enter your postcode. Site did not recognise our SW11 postcode so I emailed their contact email, this was about 5 days ago...

Meteor St site of Belleville

We've been fortunate to be offered a school place at Belleville. We are much closer to the Meteor st site and so that would be our preference. We never thought Belleille was even an option so don't actually know much about the school and how things work at the second site. It's half-term now so we'v...

Re: Northcote road library to close?

You should all be very grateful that Wandsworth are actually proposing to build a new library to replace the one they are keen to close. Unlike their proposals for the York Gardens library a few years ago, where they simply wanted to close the library. Just so we are clear they wanted to close a lib...

Re: Wix to become part of Belleville

If you get rated 4 for Safeguarding, then your school gets rated a 4. If for one moment you actually stop and think about all the categories of vulnerable children than can attend a state school, even temporarily, then you may consider Safeguarding is the first job of a school. Incidentally there wa...

Re: Front step

A neighbour just had this done and the work looked excellent including leaving the coal hole cover in place and a nice neat-looking covering for their drain manhole cover. Now a year or two later, that drain cover needs to be accessed and it turns out it's a plastic surround, that has not been insta...
