I also would not do presents.

There will surely be other ways you can treat your niece and nephew - have them to stay and take them out somewhere special for example - then your brother would hopefully not feel obliged to reciprocate in the same way as he might feel with presents.

I think it depends what hours the nanny is working. If she’s there across lunchtime I would expect to provide lunch. Dinner, well I guess it depends on her finish time - if she finishes at 6/6.30 and doesn’t have a long commute then I would probably expect her to eat at home, but I’d be happy for he...

Hi Henry, possibly too late now the heatwave has passed but I have an Intex frame pool 3x2m which I’m selling- I bought the wrong size and it’s too big for my teeny garden sadly. I also have a cover for it. Used once only and now clean and dismantled. PM me if interested?

Hi, have a look at the Romany Scout Hut off Lyford Road. I’ve never used it personally as a party venue but it has a big garden.

Or Naturescope on Wandsworth Common has a smaller garden area out front.
