Osteria Toscana on Abbeville Road

Postby soontobe » Wed May 29, 2019 2:34 pm

I just tried the new Italian which replaced the French restaurant. I played it really safe and had the calamari then the tagliatelle. Both were really nice! Not the most adventurous menu but what i had was done well. Will try them on the fish next...

Hope that people will visit. There have been some fairly swift comings and goings around there lately for restaurants. This place seems to have some promise. If they can do the classics right and maybe add some more adventurous specials, i would definitely go back again.

The Italian are always my to-go restaurants. Although I was born in the US, Italy is part of my soul thanks to all their traditional dishes that I've eaten. I enjoy the Italian cuisine, especially pasta Ravioli and Risotto made of ingredients that are relatively easy to eat. Recently, I returned from California where I visited the Osteria Toscana. What can I say? The restaurant met my expectations with it’s delicious dishes and service. Now I’m back in Toronto, still enjoying my favorite Italian cuisine at a luxurious restaurant named Blu Ristorante: https://www.bluristorante.com/. Both restaurants increased my desire to visit Italy to delight myself with it’s cuisine in a romantic atmosphere.
