Cavapoo Wanted

Postby CavapooWanted » Mon Sep 16, 2019 1:37 pm

Hi
We're looking to buy a Cavapoo.

We're pretty new to this but the wishlist we have is:

1) red
2) boy
3) from a miniature poodle as a parent, not a toy one

if anyone can recommend any great breeders or knows of one for sale please do let me know.

thank you.

I've just seen that a breeder I know of on FB (but in Leeds) has some cavapoos almost ready to leave and they haven't all beed spoken for. Join the cavapoodles group on FB or I can send you her details if you PM me. we almost bought a puppy from her but the timing wasn't right. these maybe ready too soon for you though?

As an owner of a proper poodle why buy a poodle cross? Poodles are wonderful dogs . Have you thought of a parti poodle ? What is it with Wandsworth and poodle crosses?

Kirstie’s mom, I read somewhere that some “proper” poodles are very sensitive and don’t do well with all the noise that children can produce. Perhaps the first poster has children?

I’ve never owned a dog so maybe I’m wrong but isn’t this trait partly bred out when it’s crossed with something else?

Am also looking into getting a dog and had considered a poodle but we have two lively children. Interested to know your thoughts on this.

Thank you for all of your help everyone.

We are now the proud owner of a cavapoo. She's lovely, calm and so far not too messy if you get my drift  ;)

With all due respect , that is complete nonsense. In fact on the common I have met more nervous poodle crosses than I can shake a stick at.
