Hi all, we have a 16 year old family member come to stay with us for a few months from Australia - any ideas where they can meet up with other teens outside of school? They won’t be attending the local school as its summer holidays for them. Any recommendations really appreciated - they’re wonderful company and my young kids are thrilled for the visit but I’m sure would appreciate spending time with someone besides us!! TIA!

The local teens hang around on Wandsworth Common. I have no idea how easy it is to just hook up with them there but if they can maybe find a teenage neighbour of yours who knows the ropes they could maybe get some introductions. I think it’s all arranged on Snapchat (or maybe Instagram?) so they could try and get an introduction that way. Why don’t you put out a request on Nextdoor to find a friendly teen in your neighbourhood. You will need to disclose if they’re a boy or a girl!
