Battersea Labour MP claims £17 remembrance day wreath on expenses

Postby cjdad » Sat Nov 09, 2019 10:11 am

The Labour MP for Battersea, Marsha De Cordova, claimed £17 back on expenses for a poppy day wreath.

It was marked under "office costs".

Imagine if you went to your employer to claim for reimbursement for buying a Remembrance Day poppy or wreath. As tax payers we have paid for this shocking behaviour.

She has lost my vote.

Well Marsha de Cordova’s expenses in 2018-2019 were £35k.
Jane Ellison’s annual running expenses were £160k!!

So please don’t try to tarnish Marsha de Cordova with high expenses 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Boris Johnson made the same error. Hope he's lost your vote too.
