Man wandering between the Commons

Postby tsmac » Mon Jan 20, 2020 4:16 pm

Hi,

First post here and signed up to ask if anyone has noticed a drunk man wandering around the general Northcote Road area? My husband was going to report him to local police although they may already be aware of him. I've noticed him a few times now - once outside CJ station and another few times when working from home. Just now he threw something at the living room window! He mumbles to himself between shouting out various expletives.

Sorry if he is already known in the area and I'm covering old ground, just wanted to let others know!

Hi tsmac thanks for posting. What did he look like?
I have sadly noticed an increasing number of people on the streets over the last few months but no one shouting anything.

@tsmac - I think I know the man who are talking about. White guy, short to medium height, skinny with short blonde/ brown hair? Usually seen walking with a can of cider on Northcote Rd.

He mutters a lot to himself and once or twice I’ve seen him remonstrating with someone for something minor.

I haven’t seen him do anything serious (like throwing something), but I have lived in Islington so not too surprised by this kind of thing. Usually just avoid him, but do find him annoying.

I wouldn’t hesitate in reporting him if did anything untoward (like throw something at a window or bully/ verbally abuse someone). Best play it safe and report to #101.

Yes I've seen him often either striding about with a can or berrating passers by. Most notably once shouting racist abuse to some girls. Nasty little man. Not sure anything can be done.

It would be good to get a photo of him so we all know who he is and if he does become violent it can be given to police. However if you can get a photo dont let him see you take it in case it sets him off.
We should not have to put up with abusive drunks/drugs in the streets the police need to deal with them.
