We just want to give a personal shout out and recommendation to Joanna & the amazing team at Nue Ground.
Sophia recently held our first EdTalk networking session for parents at the beautiful venue. Due to the huge success of the event and parent demand in the community, we are delighted to host our second session as outlined above on
Wednesday 4th March at 9.30am. Based on feedback from our first session last month, the EdTalk theme for this session will be '
Making sense of assessment", with an opportunity for Q&A on any educational questions you wish to raise with the group.
Sessions are free to attend, but booking your space is essential as spaces are limited. If you wish to join us next week please use the following link to confirm your space.

Sophia EdTalks are an opportunity to join us and other like minded local parents us while we address important themes and topics in Education. As an Education Team that has over 50+ years of Independent School Leadership and Teaching Experience and 7 of our own children between us, ranging in age from 1 to 38 years, we are frequently asked for our thoughts, support and opinions on educational matters facing today’s parents.
Having this year just gone through the 11+ process myself as parent, I know first hand some of the concerns that navigating the U.K. education system can raise for parents. Add to this dealing with curriculum changes, decisions regarding state vs independent education, understanding reports, mental health, safeguarding, GCSE and A Level exams, admissions, higher education choices and the many other educational questions facing parents, the pace of change in 21st century education can feel like a whole new world for parents.
