school holiday activity clubs?

Postby MrsAmanda » Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:01 am

Hello
I need your help, please.
Do you know of any full-time holiday clubs running over the summer for a 10yr old?
One was booked, but they've emailed to cancel as they're not opening.

The boss is unhelpfully suggesting 'find another one' as apparently they're two a penny, and says working from home is not an option.
Any ideas?
Thank you so much.

Activ Camps seems to be open (disclaimer: I just checked the website, didn't enquiry with them), has early drop-off/late pick-up options and lots of venues.

Thanks very much, Sid, I'll investigate.

Thank you.  Looking at your listings, you're 10-4, is that right?  I need nearer 8-6.

Another vote for Activcamps. They have the longest opening hours that I managed to find - drop off from 8.30, and extended pickup at 5.30. My son has been doing it since he was 5, and he's now 12! They also take childcare vouchers which is useful.

Ugh, I just went to book Activcamps and they've removed all their summer dates! But no email from them to their mailing list? Total bummer if correct - we rely on them (though home working so not so desperate as usual, but shame for our son!).

This seems a good multi sport camp over the summer holidays :-

Perform also do some acting courses (can be paid with childcare vouchers) :-

Lots of cheap tickets going on eBay for Chessington as well !
