Upcoming activities for families at Orleans House Gallery

Postby OrleansHouseGallery » Thu Sep 24, 2020 3:27 pm

Orleans House has some activities coming up for families.  They are:

See Saw Explore: a new activity for children aged 18 months to 5 years starts on 2 October and runs every Friday morning until 27 November (with no session on 30 October). Sessions run from 10.15-11.15am or 12-1pm. Each session will explore a theme and invite you to See, Create and Imagine through multi-sensory activities, arts and crafts and imaginative tasks that are rooted in the elements of art and are inspired by the gallery's current exhibitions, building and grounds. Prices are from £6-10. For more information and to book look at our What's On Guide: https://www.orleanshousegallery.org/whats-on/

Sunday Afternoon Art:
Join us for a free family activity at Orleans House Gallery. In anticipation of our next exhibition Octagon 300 we are going to be thinking about turning things pink and the 300th anniversary of the Octagon Room. Book a ticket for children and adults attending and take part in a socially distanced creative trail around the site. Book a start time and then complete the activity at your leisure.   https://www.orleanshousegallery.org/eve ... t-october/

Octagon 300: Our next exhibition opens on 13 October and runs through until March 2021.  In celebration of the 300th anniversary of our Baroque-period entertainment room, art group Alice in Hackneyland have created a fun and immersive experience.  The gallery is free to visit.
