Just a word of caution that if you are a user of the ZipCar Flex fleet, be careful if you are booking one of their 17 or 67 reg (previous shape) Polos as they may not have an MOT.
I looked at one the other day, and decided to look it up on the GOV website MOT checker and its MOT had expired. This particular car had even gone past its Covid MOT extension date and was still on the road available for hire.
Whilst one would of course expect all cars made available by ZipCar to be up-to-date on their MOTs, it is the responsibility of the driver to ensure the car they are driving has a valid MOT - but I suppose it depends on the viewpoint of the officer if you're stopped!
I messaged ZipCar about this but didn't receive a response.
