Suggestions for counselling

Postby Emm25 » Wed May 05, 2021 3:06 pm

Hello

I'm looking for recommendations for counselling for a 10 year old. No SEND, but has experienced a lot of grief and upset and has trouble with anger management and emotions, particularly when "wronged" by adults (e.g. when disciplined at school but hasn't done anything wrong - the school got it wrong).

Otherwise a fantastic child, coasts in top sets, good at sports, friendships, performing arts etc.

We are now very worried about where the difficulties controlling emotions will lead. Have had some scary moments.

Thanks in advance

I can recommend Jon Blender. He's a child and family psychotherapist with a very long experience.
PM me if interested I can send you his email address as it doesn't allow me to write it in this post.
You can find his website online easily to read more about him.
Best regards
